Mindful Monday 10/19

MINDFUL MONDAY -

"I release what no longer serves me." This is your sign to let go of old mindsets, self-doubt, old habits, or anything else that isn't for your highest good. Monday is a great day to start fresh, and create positive routines/make positive changes. 

Pay attention to the way you speak to yourself and others, and what kinds of thoughts come in throughout your days. Notice any unhealthy habits or negative mindsets. Allow yourself to acknowledge all of this, and release it! Below is a great exercise to release what is no longer serving you -

Practice: 

  1. Write out everything that is no longer serving you (negative self talk, self doubt, low confidence, eating when bored/stressed, fixed mindset, etc.)
  2. Read everything you wrote out, and allow yourself to release it and make changes after this practice.
  3. Safely burn the piece of paper, and drop it into the sink/a bowl of water
  4. Be mindful of the things you released, and make changes

Try to be present and notice your emotions this week. It is totally normal to experience many different emotions throughout one day. Just be patient, and notice how they feel. Did something trigger the emotion? Is it uncomfortable? Do you feel happy? Sad? Notice them without judgement & remember they are temporary.
