I had the pleasure of attending Ashlyn’s stress management workshop and found it to be very informational and enjoyable! I really resonated with hearing how we carry stress and how that affects other areas of our lives and ways to recognize it. The biggest takeaway for me was the breathing exercise that we did (4 breaths in, 7 hold, 8 out), as this was a different count/technique that I have done before. I tried it out when I was having trouble getting my body relaxed to sleep and went to sleep a lot quicker than normal, so it was a success! I am excited to continue to apply what I took away from this session in my everyday life!
